DESCRIPTION:I’m excited to announce the upcoming release of my very first solo CD\, Heartstrings! \nOver the years since coming to San Diego\, I’ve had the good fortune to work with many talented musicians in several bands. I’m very proud of all the CDs each band has recorded. \nNow\, as I launch my fledgling speaking career\, the time has come for me to record a CD with the songs I sing in my Keynote Concerts. In these concerts\, I tell my own stories of loss and recovery\, as I share my conviction that It’s Never Too Late to Follow Your Dream. \nThe songs on this CD are songs that I’ve never recorded\, and I perform them in my Keynote Concerts. I invite you to come out and celebrate with me on Sunday\, July 8 from 3-5PM at Grassroots Oasis. This is a great venue\, and a wonderful place to celebrate! My duo with Sweet Joyce Ann\, Wild Older Women\, will play an opening set. DESCRIPTION:My Bluegrass/Americana band Gemini Junction has an opening set at the Annual Ocean Beach Street Fair and Chili Cook-off. \nThis in our 4th year playing at this festival\, but we’ve moved to a different stage.  There is no Wonderland Stage this year(thanks to Target-don’t get me started!) So we are playing on the Artist Alley Stage!  There are lots of artisans exhibiting their wondrous creations all along Cable Street. The stage is located in the Union Bank parking lot\, at Cable and Niagra Street. We’re honored once again to be playing the opening set starting at 10AM\, on a stage that is new to us. \nCome out early and catch our act\, while parking is easiest\,before it gets too hot! Chlii tasting starts at 11\, and there are lots of great bands on 4 stages all day. \n

DESCRIPTION:I’m thrilled to be a part of the Fall 2016 Acoustic Evenings\, hosted by Jefferson Jay. The series takes place at the Athenaeum Music and Arts Library\, a unique venue in La Jolla. \nI will be one of three local female acoustic acts featured that evening. Jefferson uses the series to introduce local performers to a new audience. Also playing that night will be acoustic rock duo Charbra\, and Hirie- a lead singer with a Reggae band. It’s sure to be a surprisingly diverse show with something for everyone. DESCRIPTION:Lucky Strings will be playing on the lawn in front of the U.S.S. Midway at the Climate Mobilization Rally on Sunday\, July 10. Come out and show support for the cause. \nThe rally is part of a nationwide event in which Climate Mobilization groups throughout the U.S. will call on the U.S.  Government to launch a WWII scale mobilization to transition from Fossil Fuels to safe\, clean Wind\, Water and Solar energy. \nClimate Mobilization is based in NYC. The San Diego Coalition includes Citizens Climate Lobby\, Peace Resource Center\, Greenpeace\, Sierra Club\, the O.B. Green Center\, and O.B. People’s Organic Food Co-op.
